I was napping in front of the electric fireplace, my favorite in the house to sleep. It doesn't even matter that I sleep on the ground. It's so nice and cozy and warm there that I fall asleep immediately, even when I'm not tired.
When I woke up, I saw the dumb cat glaring at me from under the couch. He does not have the audacity to come out from under there and glare at me properly. He is jealous of me because he also likes to sleep in front of the fireplace. He will not do so if I am hogging the spot, so he just glares at me instead from his favorite place to glare at me, which is under the couch.
I slept at my favorite spot for about two hours. I could have woken up to go food shopping with my mom, but the idea of walking around huge crowded stores like Costco and Walmart on Christmas Eve just gives me a headache so I pretended to be asleep when my mom asked me to come. Then my dad told me he was going to drive to the middle of nowhere, and he was wondering if I wanted to come. I woke up because it sounded cool. I also thought it would be a good opportunity to take pictures with my new camera.
So now we are about to drive to the middle of nowhere and hopefully I'll get some nice pictures. Later I should brush up on my yoga because I have neglected my practice for nearly two weeks And hopefully, I will not eat anymore chocolate today because I eat too much already. But sadly, there are only boxes and boxes of chocolate in this house to eat.
